This program updates the Bloodborne Pathogens standard information, including the new Federal Law: Needlestick Prevention Act; and OSHA's new enforcement action. The BBP standard has not changed. However, OSHA is targeting enforcement of Engineering controls. This means safer needles, surgical blade removal and other controls.
